In 1963 we lived in Glen Ellyn , a suburb on the outskirts of Chicago...the suburbs were exploding with WWII vets and their families carving out the American dream.

I basically grew up in a house that was built in the 1920's...a sturdy stone Beaux Arts of a home, with gorgeous woodwork, built-ins and wrought iron that would sustain a massive attack on the castle.
